Learn the Power of Your Subconscious Mind

Today was my first day as an engineering consultant. No more job, sorta. Although much hasn’t changed since last week, I still feel different. I’ve progressed and I feel like I’ve been baptized as an entrepreneur. I let go of my old job and I’m now out on my own. I’m responsible for what happens to me. It’s a great feeling.

Now, if you’ve followed me for any period of time, you know I didn’t transition into consulting overnight. It took time. It probably took a lot longer than it should have. And the reason it took so long is because I was scared to take the next step. For the longest time I was terrified of sharing my vision. I thought others might laugh and think it was a stupid idea.

I’ve got to tell you, I discovered that I was wrong and it that was the furthest thing from the truth. When I began to really open up and share my ideas, everything around me started to change. You could do the same, but you’ve got to take what I’m saying and put it into action.

I think this one tip will increase your progress dramatically. Here’s my thoughts. Enjoy the clip.

As part of this program you’re going to receive some huge bonuses. I’m giving away $ 4,585.00 in bonuses for my 12 Month Program. Some of these bonuses include courses that I’ve attended in the last two years. I did this for two reasons.

#1) The first reason is because I want you to receive as much value as possible from my program. The more material and resources you have, the better prepared you will be to increase your awareness. Increasing awareness will uncover your blind spots. These programs are transformational.

#2) The second reason I’m offering such outrageous bonuses is because I believe in these courses. I’ve participated in them. I’ve got to tell you the bonuses I’m offering are going to change your life. They’ve changed mine. Some of my biggest breakthroughs came through these bonuses.

Breakthrough #1

When I completed the Millionaire Mind Intensive (MMI) in 2006, I did something radical. I sold my 350Z sportscar to pay for a self improvement course. Some people thought I was nuts. My dad even asked me, “Are you sure you want to sell your car?” I was sure. Less than a year later, Trisha and I bought our first home. We then rented our basement out for $800 per month. I eliminated my $800 monthly car payments and earned an extra $800 in passive income every month. That’s $1,600 +ve per month!

Within 1 year of MMI, Trisha and I also:

  • Increased our net worth by 43% in 12 a month period
  • Traveled and vacationed more this year than any other time.
  • Arranged a simple system to automate our wealth creation.
  • Created more peace in our relationship by resolving money issues.

Most people don’t get what they want because they keep doing the same old thing. They keep taking the same actions in hopes of creating a different result. And the reason they do that is because their actions are rooted in fear. They fear taking on new actions. And that is their biggest problem.

Think of it this way. Let’s say on a scale of 1-10, you’re currently a 3. That’s where you are in your personal development. Now let’s say that there is this problem that you have. We all have them, it’s a part of life. And let’s say that problem is a 7. When you look up at the problem from where you are, the problem looks huge! A 7 is a lot bigger than a 3.

Now let’s say you work on yourself, you develop yourself. Maybe you get a coach and improve your confidence. You’re now at a 9 out of 10. A 9 is greater than 7, so now you look down at the problem and think, “that’s a tiny little problem, I can handle that.” And you do handle it because you’re bigger than the problem. Makes sense, right?

If you’re bigger than your problems, then you won’t have an issue to get where you want to be. You can do whatever you want, really. Personal growth is the key to heightening your awareness so that you can get what you want.

Here’s my take on this - see the video below.

This is my first video post. You gotta start somewhere, right? What do you think?

An affirmation is a statement asserting a truth that you wish to exist. It’s something you intentionally want to experience. Affirmations can and will increase your amplitude of vibration if applied in the proper context. There is a wide variety of advice on how affirmations work. Use your intuition to elicit the best advice. Here are my three suggestions for creating positive affirmations.

1. Declare Your Affirmations in the Present Tense

Write your affirmations out using the present tense and not the future or past tenses. Why? Because there is only one time and that time is NOW. You can only create in this moment, right now. You can’t create in the future or the past. You can only create now.

Positive affirmations stated in the present tense send out positive thought vibrations. These thought vibrations increase your amplitude of vibration. And your amplitude of vibration is directly related to your feelings or ability to attract. The easiest way to create these feelings is by experiencing them in the NOW. And the way to do that is by stating your affirmations in the present tense.

Here is an affirmation that I use quite often,

i.e. “I am so happy and grateful now that money comes to me in increasing quantities, from multiple sources of income on a continuous basis.”

2. Affirmations should focus on what you want, not what you don’t want

Life is Short

October 13, 2008 | 2 Comments

Joe Zanatta was my grandfather. He past away on Tuesday, September 30th and was 84 years old. When he was 27 he left Italy to come to Canada and start a new life. The word “Nonno” means grandfather in Italian. My Nonno has left me with some great memories.

Memories of Nonno

You might remember him for his good looks, his charm, his hands-on approach to life and how he carefully tendered his garden to get those tomatoes just right. You might remember him for his bad driving, his little pick-up truck or that 40 proof vino that made your head spin. You might remember him for his spotless driveway or the way his lawn was always trimmed perfectly.

You might remember him for all these things. You might remember him for the way he used to say hi and how he always had a smile on his face. It was as if his face was saying, “It’s so nice to see you.”

You might remember the way he greeted you and the tender way he would hold your hand. My Nonno was always so gentle and loving.

You might remember Nonno for the little things he used to say. Like when we used to ask him if he would like a drink of water and he’d say, “Water? It’s too wet. It gets the pipes rusty.”

I’ve got to be honest with you; it’s rare these days to meet someone like my Nonno. He was someone who had such a spark and enthusiasm for life; someone who always had a smile on his face and the right words to make you laugh. He had such a great attitude. He was one of a kind and I’ll miss him.

I’m going to remember the Nonno who always had the patience to listen; and the wisdom to give great advice.

Money has Feelings too!

October 11, 2008 | 4 Comments

It’s true. You would never treat money the way you do if you knew it had feelings. Have you ever thought about how you treat your money? Think about it.

I bet you don’t treat money the way you treat your friends and family. Here is how most people treat their money. The say things like,

  1. It’s a means to an end
  2. There is never enough of it
  3. Having money causes problems
  4. Money isn’t everything
  5. Money doesn’t make you happy

Would you say those things to your best friend?

Could you imagine if you told your best friend that they aren’t enough? They would probably smack you one and then leave you for good. They’d probably desert you. Is your money doing the same?

If you think about it, we would never treat our money the way we treat our friends and family. Just remember that money has got feelings too.

Start to change your relationship with money.  If you give money the tender, love and care that you expect from others, money will just come to you.  Treat your money the way you want to be treated as the once great Plato said,

May I do to others as I would that they should do unto me.” ~ Plato

Your construct of reality creates blind spots that prevent you from easily applying the Law of Attraction. This construct is how you view the world and either supports or hinders you. Once you understand the building blocks of reality, you can make new choices that will help you learn how to apply the law of attraction.

This article is the second in a series. To get the most value from the series, I would highly suggest you go back and read the first article before continuing. The first article in this series answers some important questions:

  1. Who are you?
  2. Why are you here?
  3. What is your purpose?

You can go back and read this article now: Law of Attraction.

Effectively applying the Law of Attraction requires that you understand the construct of your reality. The construct of your reality is created from one of two opposing view points: you are either knowing or not knowing.

Knowing vs Not Knowing

The building blocks of reality are created from two different points of view: “knowing” and “not knowing”. These opposing view points are extreme polar opposites. The gap between these two view points provides for an infinite number of alternate possibilities. It’s important to understand the difference.

Knowing is a state of connectedness. Remember, you are energy. Science has proven this time and time again. You cannot be created or destroyed. You have no beginning and no end. You can only change forms or transform. You are a continuous wave of transforming energy.

Law of Attraction

October 2, 2008 | 8 Comments

The Law of Attraction states that you attract what you think about. Thoughts are magnetic. You have power to create your physical reality with thought. You don’t need to believe this in order for it to be true.  You will attract what you think about regardless of what you currently believe.  This is important to understand when applying the Law of Attraction.

What you attract and how effective you are at attracting what you want does require some basic understanding. In order to easily work this Law and apply it in your own life, it’s important for you to understand and internalize three important principles. I’ve arranged these principles into a question and answer format to make them easier for me to explain.

  1. Who are you?
  2. Why are you here?
  3. What is your purpose?

As I have studied and practiced as a mechanical engineer for the past 11 years it has given me the opportunity to see the world from a different view point. It’s also caused a stir in me because I’ve always had a deeper intuitive feeling that there was more to life than just appearances. Over the last decade or so I’ve kept probing and asking questions to find the true meaning behind these invisible forces. Finding the answers to these questions has helped me understand and internalize the Law of Attraction.

Q 1: Who are you?

Do you know who you really are? It’s not something we think about, but really give that question some thought.

You see most of us don’t know ourselves. We don’t know our true power, our true genius. We base a lot of our activities on our identity - the person who we think we are.

European Trip

September 12, 2008 | 1 Comment

I’ll be off on vacation for the next two weeks. My wife and I are going to be backpacking in Europe. We’re going to be traveling to Switzerland and Italy. I’ve got family in Italy. I haven’t been back to Europe in over seven years so this trip should be a lot of fun.

I won’t be posting any new content during the duration of my trip. I’m only one guy, still working in a full time job, married with a house and still trying to do it all (sometimes until the wee hours of the night). My intention was to pre-post a few articles to my blog while I was away, but that didn’t happen. Sometimes I take on too much :)

While I’m away, I’ll be checking in with my email every few days. If you have any questions about my site or my Freedom Coaching Program, start by filling in a questionnaire. If you want more information, please leave your phone number in Question #3 and I will be more than happy to call you to share about my program when I return.

I better go. I’ve got to go and practice my Italian :)

Coaching

September 11, 2008 | Leave a Comment

Coaching is my passion. My first coaching experience was with Landmark Education in the early months of 2006. I immediately fell in love with coaching because of the noticeable impact I had on others. I personally think it’s the most effective structure for causing results for another.

Since 2006, I’ve coached many people in an informal setting. Many of these people have been my friends, family and others that I’ve established business relationships with over the years. Most of the coaching was in a one-to-one setting over the phone or in person.

Here are some of the areas where I’ve effectively coached others:

  • identifying blind spots
  • build new habits
  • time management
  • goal setting and creating inspiring goals
  • getting clear on life purpose
  • starting a new business (mostly blogging)
  • achieving more clarity, focus and direction
  • increased productivity
  • debt elimination

Coaching means different things to different people. To some it means consulting, providing information and advice. And to others it means creating a relationship where you cause others to produce expanded results in their life. I fall into the second category. I want to see everyone I coach produce massive results.

Here are the distinctions of a great coach:

  • a coach is someone who holds another person to be larger than they believe they are
  • a coach is someone who causes another to create results
