My Story

I worked as an engineer for seven years before transitioning into coaching. I knew I wanted to be a coach, but all these great reasons came up that kept me stuck. I kept putting off the important things I needed to do and take action on so that I could be a successful coach. I knew what to do. I just wasn’t doing it.

I’ve procrastinated – we all have. It’s human nature right?

This Motivation book teaches you the inner strategy to motivation, how to get motivated quickly and how to make those changes permanent.

I shared the exact same information with a client of mine who had been putting off the marketing of his business for over two months. Two months!!

He was losing money and still procrastinating! He was in great pain, his business was suffering and he still wasn’t taking action.

Within a few minutes of speaking with him over the phone and revealing some of my techniques on how to change the way he was thinking (and motivating himself), he instantly took action!

What Most Experts Will Tell You

Realize that most experts will tell you that the best way to overcome procrastination is to use a productivity system; to place important tasks in your calender and start with your priorities at the start of the day. I’m sure you’ve heard that before.

I know a lot of people who follow this strategy – they use productivity systems. For some of them it works and for others it doesn’t.

Would you like to know why?

The reason I think it doesn’t work equally well for everyone is because it only works if you’re already motivated. For most people the problem isn’t productivity, it’s motivation.

    Oh my days!!! I just read your supper amazing book in 30 mins, I was that excited!! I “motivated” myself to wake up on que happy and excited, do my revision (FINALLY!!!) and….. drum role please…. EXERCISE! let me make this clear, i don’t run. Ever. Not for a bus, nothing, I don’t like sweat either. actually i don’t! I perspire lightly(YES, there is a difference). My point is I RAN and i enjoyed it.

    Hey Steve. I did all the things in the book. But I still procrastinate when i should be doing the assignment. I changed the the picture but its like there is no like feeling, and i have no idea how to get it.
