   [..YouTube..] “doing good things without expecting anything in return”. thats its man. I know many ppl who do acts of kindness just to get something back. literally they go out and do volunteering and actually wait for something good to happen to them. I know….idiots.

    Now that’s a bit harsh – everyone is on their own journey – try not to judge them for expecting something in return for voluntary work. Re this Happy video – it’s great. I take it even further in saying that 99% of happiness comes from within. People spend their entire lives searching outside of themselves for happiness and security (that includes r’ships, y’all!!) and that doesn’t sound right to me. I’m sure we all know of people who have EVERYTHING – money, security, status, beauty, relationship, and they’re STILL unhappy and don’t even smile :)

    The speaker, Shawn, reiterates your message that happiness is internal and outlines a 5 point daily plan to rewire your brain to be happier, one of which is committing daily random acts of kindness. I think you’ll get a lot out of it and want to share it!

    I’ve thought about this subject many times and I have to tell you that I have gotten to the same conclusion. Doing good deeds makes everyone happy :)
