Money has Feelings too!

It’s true. You would never treat money the way you do if you knew it had feelings!

Have you ever thought about how you treat your money?

Think about it…

I bet you don’t treat money the way you treat your friends and family – not even close.

Here is the way most people relate to money. The say things like,

  • It’s a means to an end
  • There is never enough of it
  • Having money causes problems
  • Money isn’t everything
  • Money doesn’t make you happy

Now think of money was a person – like a family member or a good friend… would you still say those things about them?

Could you imagine if you told your best friend that having them around causes problems; or that they don’t make you happy; or that they are a means to an end?

Imagine it…

Your best friend would smack in the face! They wouldn’t want to be around someone like that… and neither do you. Nobody deserves that type of verbal abuse… not even money.

If you think about it, you would never treat money that way if you knew it had feelings.

Money has got feelings too.

Start to change your relationship with money and you’ll have more of it.  If you give money the tender, love and care that it deserves – just like any good friend – then more of it will show up.

Treat your money the way you want to be treated. Treat it like a good friend…

May I do to others as I would that they should do unto me.” ~ Plato

If you start to change your relationship with money, it will change its’ relationship with you :-)

Well, money is a way to happiness just as much as friends are. If you don’t have any friends you’re unhappy and lonely. If you don’t have any money you won’t get to go out with your friends:)

Good point – I mean in this day and age money is a means to express ourselves physically, spiritually and mentally. There is no way around it.

You can’t be fully expressed in any one of these areas without money; it’s just not possible in our current evolution.

    thanks for dropping by FE,

Yeah Stephen… I agree with you. Many poor (mindset) people don’t have enough respect for money.

They tend to believe that money can’t buy you happiness and money isn’t everything.

That’s only half true. The other half of the truth is that Everything Is Money! Even the water we drink cost money!

It might be true that poor people can be happy too. But to choose between ‘Rich & Happy’ and ‘Poor But Happy’, I’d rather choose the former.

    Cheers~

Haha – funny this – I had a “flash of insight” a few months ago… a voice just popped in my head and said “treat money as a friend”.

Luckily, being slightly insane, I jotted this idea down and reviewed it the next day.

Thinking there wasn’t much to lose, I spent a few weeks convincing my subconscious that money was indeed my friend. I went from being scared and fearful of it to thinking of it fondly, like I’d think of my Grandmother.

Since then, I’ve earned between £10-£15k (pounds) per month the last three months. I only work three days a week.

Before I was earning £3-5K. I’ve changed nothing else.

Naturally, I’m a little scared that money IS actually supposed to be treated as if it’s your mate. That is a little bit insane…

    …But I think you’re onto something here!
