How to Get Lots of Money For Anything FAST: Revised Review

This is a more in depth review of Stuart’s Lichtman’s book, How to Get Lots of Money For Anything Fast. You can find my initial review of Stuart’s book that I completed on May 9, 2009 right here: Money Fast Book Review

So what is this about fast money?

I’m weary of anyone who tells me that I can make money fast. You should be too. I believe there is some value in being in the right place at the right time, but that’s not going to make you money.  You need to have a solid strategy (or process) to acquire money – especially if the only way you’re currently making money is through your job.

Fast money schemes get a bad rap and they should. Unless you already have an idea that you can sell as a service (or a product) you’re going to find it tough to earn quick money.   Even with those in place, you still need a solid strategy to attract the right people who will buy from you.

It doesn’t matter if someone is buying you (to hire you for a job) or to purchase your product or service. You still need a solid strategy to do this successfully.

Can you attract the right strategy?

Absolutely. If you’re smart enough to act on a good strategy when you see one, you can hit gold. I don’t want to sound like a negative Nancy, but I’ve experimented quite a lot… I may have started 12 different businesses – some have failed (a good number) and others have succeeded.

What is the Secret to Attracting More Money?

When I think about those times when I succeeded, what comes to mind is alignment. I felt completely aligned with what I was doing earning that money. I felt that my thoughts, feelings and beliefs were completely aligned.

The one obstacle I clearly say time after time in my own experience is a resistance to money – even after I earned my first 6 figures, I still felt resistance. I still do at times. (HINT: specially when I’m growing). The more I earn the most resistance. Our subconscious is what creates that resistance.

  • Would you like to attract more money? Align your subconscious.
  • Would you like to earn more money in your job? Align your subconscious.
  • Would you like to be successful in business? Align your subconscious.

Why Revist Stuart Lichtman’s Book?

There are two reasons.  The first reason is that I promised to give you an update on what has happened with me since going through Stuart’s Book over the past year.  Initially, I had some great results that I shared with you in my first review: Money Fast Book Review

What I’ve realized over the last year is that bigger changes can take a bit more time to evolve and take shape.  I share the intimate details of those changes below.

The second reason was because I felt my initial review of Stuart’s book was incomplete.  Although the book is about making money, I think it does much more than help anyone make more money.  It also helps you reframe destructive beliefs so you can take consistent action towards your goals.

These beliefs are called “blockers.”

Before we get right into “blockers”, I highly suggest you read my article on Cybernetic Transposition so that you understand how Stuart’s processes work.   This article summarizes the basic process covered in Stuart’s book.

Warning: I use the words unconscious and subconscious interchangebly at different times. It’s not because I’m trying to confuse you.  They mean the same thing.

So What the Heck is Stuart Lichtmans’ book about?

In a word, this book helps you eliminate destructive beliefs or “blockers” so you can achieve your goals.  It puts your subconscious in alignment with your conscious goals.  In Stuart Lichtman’s own words:

Your brain’s activities are divided among four different systems, each involving a major part of your brain. Usually these parts are pulling you in different directions because they each speak a different language:

  • The right brain is fluent in patterns of arrangement, rhythm, and sound.
  • The left brain’s language is made of words and logic.
  • The midbrain communicates with emotions.
  • The brainstem’s language consists of physical stimulus and response.

You have probably experienced them all working together in harmony – and sometimes in conflict, battling and even sabotaging each other.  CT helps you by resolving self-defeating unconscious habit patterns to ones that support you and by creating effective conscious communication with the part of you that knows what’s right for you.

Now I really confused you :)

If you’re not confused, you’ve probably read that before or are at least familiar with Stuart’s work.  So here’s the plain english version…

What Stuarts book does is help you eliminate unconscious “blockers” so that you can achieve what you set out to do.  It helps you eliminate self-sabotage and resistance so you are aligned with your goals.

What I Didn’t Like About Stuart Lichtman’s Book

Let me be upfront.  At times this book can be confusing. What’s more is that his techniques are very time consuming. I get very impatient at times and want to see results.

When I wrote my first review of this book I had achieved my goal using the Basic Achievement Process. Stuart’s book helped me eliminate unconscious resistance or “blockers” so that I was able to achieve my goal. That was to earn $3,000+ in a single month from this blog. I did that in July of 2010.

That being said, not everyone who applies these processes are able to achieve their basic goals and I’m not sure why.

What Stuart does really well is help you eliminate destructive beliefs and blockers with his clearing processes.  These clearing processes have been extremely helpful for me.  By being persistent with one of these clearing processes I was able to overcome some resistance that has been sabotaging my efforts for the last year – if not longer.

Clearing Processes

The clearing processes are tools to help you eliminate blockers and self-sabotage.  There are two clearing processes in Stuart’s book: the Base Reframing and the Super Achievement Clearing Processes.

I’ve used both and highly recommend the Base Reframing process (BRP). It worked very well for me and is excellent.  I think the discovery of this process is compete genius. It’s simple and effective.

My Breakthrough Using Stuart Lichtman’s BRP

I resolved some long standing sabotage blockers using the BRP.  Within 6 weeks of resolving this blocker I launched a new blog: Blogging for Coaches.  You may have heard of it before.  It’s a site to help coaches build their coaching business using blogs and blogging.

Since starting Blogging for Coaches in March of this year, some amazing things have happened:

  • Partnered with a good friend to help me run the site
  • We created an online community with over 592 members
  • 6,343 unique pages read on our blog
  • 1,411 unique visitors on our blog
  • Built a mailing list of 257 email subscribers
  • We’ve launched an online membership site with 9 paying members

For a project that is still in it’s infancy, I’m really proud of these accomplishments.  We’ve only just started this site 4 months ago and things are moving quickly.

This project had been an idea of mine since early 2009, but I kept procrastinating.  I kept sabotaging my ideas and I kept killing the project.  A part of me really wanted to move forward with it, but another part of me was resisting.

Once I resolved this self-sabotaging blocker, I began to feel more connected and aligned with the idea of Blogging for Coaches.  There was little if any resistance.

I felt inspired and went with that inspiration.  I took action and I started to produce results.

It seems that somehow – I’ve had a major shift in my perception – and because of this I’m having a lot more fun working on the Blogging for Coaches project.

I’ve also felt much more in tune with my intuition, my efforts have been more focused and I don’t spend a lot of time on ‘busy work.’

If you’re interested in Stuart Lichtman’s book, it’s for someone who:

  • is sabotating their efforts; you know what to do, you’re just not doing it
  • has a pattern of starting a project and then stopping it… only making it take much longer to complete
  • is feeling that one part of them wants to move ahead while another part of them is resisting

I agree with your article 100%. I’ve started using Stuart’s system again after buying it 5 years ago. The reason I’ve stopped the first time is that it is so time-consuming; which I’m also having a problem with right now. To read through my target 100 times takes me at least a couple of hours. And I’m a pretty fast reader. Also, you are right on about the book being a little too confusing.

My only complaint about your article is that you didn’t tell us what you did to modify the CT process. I’ve modified the CT process by writing it in the form of afFORmations. Affirmations stated in the form of questions that was discovered by Noah St.John. So the sentences in my CT are all questions within paragraphs. I’m going to see how that works since afformations supposedly work faster and better than statements.

    Hi Ben,

I didn’t modify the CT processes because I wanted to stick with Stuarts’ system. I figured that if it worked for others it could work for me.

What I did was create some of my own processes for setting and sustaining a clear mental image (without writing it out). I sort of discovered it after I started using Stuart’s book and now it’s something I teach my clients so that they can fix a clear mental image in their subconscious.

There is a little bit of contradiction here. You state that in order to make money you must have a strategy. Well!!. What happens with undereducated people who do not have the slightest idea about planning and strategy? Will they remain poor?. What if they align their thoughts and feelings so everything comes easy without effort. Remember the law of the least effort?. “Do less and accomplish more. do nothing and accomplish everything”. I am confused, as always.

    Hey Ana,

It’s been my experience (and remember this is only my experience) that in order for money to flow to you (outside of a job) you must follow a strategy; a strategy that delivers value to others.

I’m not saying this is the only way for money to flow to you. I’m just saying this is how I’ve done it.

There are two parts to “attracting more money”:

    1. The inner work and;
    2. The outer work

    The Inner Work

I stand by everything I teach on my blog (including the Law of Attraction.) If you (or anyone for that matter) creates feelings of abundance (and wants money), money will find it’s way to you. It doesn’t matter who you are or what your financial situation is.

    The Outer Work

What most people miss is “receiving.” As you start to create those feelings of abundance you will begin attracting new ideas, new resources and new information. By acting on those ideas – you are receiving. You receive the money by taking action.

My experience has taught me that those actions normally follow a process (or strategy). And that strategy is predictable and repeatable. So once you attract the right strategy (by following #1), it becomes very easy for you to predict how much money will flow to you.

High Steve thanks for your updated review in which you stressed on the importance to use the Base Reframing process to achieve your goals. But I have one question , If I used the super achievement three step process, for seemingly impossible goal , do I have to do some of basic achievement process , ( like writing or reading for 100 times ) , or proceed directly with steps of super achievement. ( and just use the base reframing from the basic achievement for clearing)

    thanks

    Hey Gorge,

It really depends on where you’re at I guess. If you have read Stuart’s book you might realize that the super achievement 3 step process is based on a lot of the same principles outlined in the basic 3 step process.

When I worked with Monique Gallagher (a CT coach) she emphasized the importance of achieving somewhat smaller goals before going ahead and setting a much larger goal. That’s the approach I’ve taken and it has seemed to work for me.

    I hope that helps,

What happens when we have conflicting goals? Lichtman seems to be saying we should pick one and exclude the others. I think we should ask the Unconscious to harmonize those goals so that action toward one is also action toward the other.

Lichtman seems to assume “I am a rock, I am an island” — I communicate with my unconscious, and no one else’s; I think about making myself rich, not about making my team rich or my company rich or my spouse rich. In other words his work stops short of dealing with teamwork. If all of us on a team are learning and using his methods, how do we best help each other?
