“Big doors swing on little hinges.” ~ W. Clement Stone

It’s been my experience that when I struggled to get ahead to make it to the next level of achievement, it always came down to these two obstacles. Once you learn to overcome them, you’ll make the greatest leaps in your progress in the shortest possible time.

Here’s the first video:

    Steve:

You have some great ideas. However, your video was difficult to listen to, simply because the sound quality was not great. You need for your mic to be stronger.

    Thank you.

    Hey Kim,

Yeah, the volume seems to be low. The best thing to do is to click on the video and at the bottom right there is a volume button. It’s just left of the words ‘BitGravity’ and you can turn that volume dial up to 100%.

    Steve,

Thanks for the video. The two obstacles you talked about here are very true, confidence and lack of motivation. I believe many goals we don’t achieve isn’t because we can’t, but simply we don’t believe we can, thus the confidence on a level of 3 while obstacle of level 9.

That’s very good point. But then how we can increase our confidence?

Thanks for the video, but the big question for me is i have enought desire to acheive my goals but how to get confidence in my self, i’ve been tried for a long time without result, i feel “bloqué”

  • denis

    Reply Reply November 4, 2010

I appreciate your clarity and the enthusiasm with which you communicate yourself; and depict the relationship between confidence and desire and their impact on motivation.
Until we take action there is no prospect of achieving any results; and I believe there is a third vital element – our goals. It is our goals that light a beacon to illuminate our path and remind us of the direction in which we are heading; and shed light on the actions and decisions that must form our next steps, if we are to progress. It would also seem that when you talk about “virtual self” you are also describing a “goal” and we are simply using different language to describe the same thing?

  • Steve

    Reply Reply November 4, 2010

Hey Denis… glad you’re enjoying the information and the journey :)

The virtual self is not just a goal, it’s your entire self image – the bigger vision – you have for your life that illuminates your path and direction. Goals are only one part of this.

    Steve hi,

Thanks for clarifying that <> This is an important distinction. Part of my work is as a vocational mentor. A key question is “What do you want to do with your life?” Your notion of the “virtual self” opens a new and valuable window and perspective on the question. I am looking forward to the next nugget.

    Best wishes,
    Denis

“if you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can move mountains”.That is written in The Bible. And it has a subtle link with the new and amazing things that Science reveals us today:about how neurons in our brain and the electrical impulses they release(that WE release)practically “mess” with quantum physics and the world around us.Basically.we can choose any field or frequency and CREATE our own world..as we go!Yo,Steve,if you can show me how to choose and stick with the frequency I need from now on,(and that is Love),than you will be my idol phoreva!Peace…

Desire and motivation to follow-through is one of the many challenges we face through life. People are content to live a poor life rather than be uncomfortable making it a better one. Here’s an old cliche, “one cannot motivate an unmotivated person”. If that’s the case, then desire will not work, and neither will motivation. It’s interesting to find out your unlocking of the code to address these life’s challenges. Thank you.

you know steve, people that usually come to search for this kind of information you are sharing, they come not barehanded, but “armed” with some built’in information.
most of all know at a very common sense level that we lack something, usually self confidence and motivation.
i believe that the most powerful thing a person can do, after having watched this video is: to be convinced to pass to action. if possible, now, immediately.
how can he be convinced to do it ?
    by touching his emotions.
and by finishing the video with a simple question: for exemple, when do you want to start? what do you want to do now ? write down 3 things based on this info. etc
i learned this from a coach that has a website in romania. who is at the same time a professor at the university. in psychology.

otherwise, all ears and eyes for the 2nd video !

    Steve,

This is an awesome video! I wholeheartedly believe these are the obstacles.

Someone who believes something will be easy and has confidence in themselves is so much more likely to reach their goals than someone who is going to “try it and see what happens.”

Looking forward to your next video!

    Thanks,

HI Steve, i really appreciate what you’re doing for people. but i got an idea i think it’ll help people to understand more ‘in my opinion’ i think you should interduce people who had been in any situation and they survived or, just “show us” something instead of just saying it in words. Thanks a lot. keep going :)

Hi Steve, thanks for sharing.I look forward to see what you have found out. I have also read the book, and from what I have heard is the only book that works for ordinary people, that I am now reading,”How to get lots of money for anything fast”, and struggling with from time to time because it is time consuming and to be frank boring sometimes to actually take action and do the exercises.
Thanks again Steve and have a nice saturday!
